Volcano Float Burns:

In Oakville's annual parade, a Mount St. Helens float built to emit smoke stole the show when it burst into flames in front of the viewing stand. Paul Singleton wasn't able to put out the flames in his creation, and the parade floats behind were shrouded in black smoke. Finally, Oakville firefighters were called to the scene. Their pumper and crew were able to save the truck, but all that remained of the volcano were a few charred scraps of newspaper and foam insulation
